Budgeting in Commander Finance organizes transactions into budget lines, then measures activity against a baseline that depends on the budget mode. Commander supports three modes, and you can switch between them at any time.

  • Budget modes—how Tracking, Targets, and Envelope modes change line behavior and which is best suited for each kind of budgeting.
